UPCYCLING SPANISH AWARD 2013

Tiding up my photos of the 2013, I found this image that was selected in a Spanish photo contest about recycling. 
The image is the result of several days visiting junkyards. 
The scrap dealers had lots of trouble letting me photograph those stunning mountains of metal. Someday I would like to tell them that today a picture of their piles of scrap it´s hung on a wall as an art work. 
My intention was to upcycle scrap into art.
